Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, Inc. began providing Problem Gambling treatment services at our McKean County facilities in 2009. Both the Bradford and the Port Allegany sites currently employ counseling staff who have attained the Certificate of Competency in Problem Gambling issued by The Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).

Gambling screening is incorporated in the screening and assessment tools utilized at all of our sites. If a gambling problem is identified, an appointment is scheduled with a certified gambling counselor within one week of the referral. Clients must provide proof of (PA) residency to their first appointment. Acceptable forms of verification include: Drivers License, State ID card, Income tax Form, W-2 form, MA Card, or other proof of residence.

While Problem Gambling treatment services are currently only available at our McKean County sites, referrals are accepted from all Pennsylvania counties. Referrals may be made through any of the ADAS facilities located under the “Services” tab at the top of the page.

You can also find help 24/7 in your area by calling the PA Gambling Addiction Hotline at 1-877-565-2112.
