THE VACANCIES:

Drug & Alcohol Residential Worker – As-Needed
Pay Range 27:   $9.59/hour – 20 hours per week max.

We are looking to fill 5 of these positions

THE LOCATION:

Maple Manor, Bradford, PA

THE DUTIES:

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to develop and maintain a sympathetic and understanding attitude when working with program clients.
Ability to learn and apply simple principles and methods of drug and alcohol rehabilitation to facility residents.
Ability to make judgments regarding the health and welfare of program clients and to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
Ability to provide appropriate transportation for residents to appointments.
Ability to maintain records.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

No previous experience and training required.

THE VACANCY:
D&A Food Service Worker II
Pay Range 26: $17,142 (37 ½ hours weekly) / $659.31 biweekly

THE LOCATION:
Maple Manor, 139 Minard Run Road, Bradford, PA 16701

THE DUTIES:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • The modern methods, materials, practices, and procedures used in food preparation, food service, and sanitation.
  • Knowledge of food service safety standards necessary to prevent accidents.
  • Knowledge of the proper care and use of simple serving utensils and equipment.
  • Ability to assign and coordinate routine tasks in the food service operation.
  • Ability to instruct new employees, patients or students in work routines.
  • Ability to prepare simple attendance records and requisitions.
  • Ability to work effectively with other people.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Experience in food preparation or service; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or training. Serve Safe Certification preferred. A valid Driver’s License.

Recovery Support Specialist
Pay Range 27:  $9,973 (20 hours)   ($9.59 hourly)

THE LOCATION:
St Marys, PA

THE DUTIES:

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of the purpose, goals and objectives of the drug and alcohol recovery process.

Knowledge of drug and alcohol recovery support program practices and community resources.

Knowledge of the drug and alcohol services delivery system.

Ability to communicate effectively orally.

Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

Ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Ability to demonstrate assertiveness.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

Full certification as a drug and alcohol recovery support specialist by a statewide certification body which is a member of a National certification body or certification by another state government’s substance abuse certification board preferred.

A minimum of 18 months of lived recovery experience in a continuous manner.
