PREVENTION

 

There is little evidence to challenge the basic premise that prevention is the most humane and cost effective response to alcohol and other drug use and related problems. ADAS provides a wide variety of programs which promote a healthy lifestyle through practical prevention methods are:

 

  • Student Assistance Program consultation
  • Alcohol and other drug prevention curriculums in locals schools
  • Preparing for Drug Free Years (PDFY)
  • Prevention/Education group facilitators at the elementary and secondary levels
  • Life Skill Programs
  • The Incredible Years Program
  • Community based programs for youth, women, and businesses.
  • First time offenders programs
  • Red Ribbon and holiday drunk and drugged driving prevention campaigns
  • Health Kids Program
  • Youthful Offenders Program
